Hi All
I know this topic has been discussed before.....I was at the range with my Springfield M1A Loaded version, Purchased last year.I was shooting Winchester 308 fmj 147 grain. I was told to only shoot NATO 7.65 that 308 is adifferent round????

Please advise

NATO ammo general has slightly thicker brass and commercial ammo can be loaded to higher pressures. Both are so close it generally doesn’t matter. Most M1a owners will shoot either and keep the bullet weight between 147gr and 168gr. 175gr is acceptable if you are dumping some of the gas pressure with various methods used.
